Suzan Ambrose ComedienneSuzan Ambrose: comedian, writer, activist, radio show persona. Using what life has given her, Ambrose now uses the stage for comedic relief.

Yours … & hers.

Suzan got her official start in comedy in the Summer of 2015 at a private party in the Mountains of Central Vermont, when she performed on a whim after the producers heard her ranting about the unconstitutionality of women not being able to remove their shirts in public (Top Freedom for women in the US of A ) and implored her to tell her tales on their stage. As you might imagine, the crowd went wild and ….a star was born.

Since then, Suzan has performed throughout New England in many shows including LGBTQLOL, Fresh Meat, the Berkshire Women’s Music Festival, Northampton Pride, Boston Pride, The Green Mountain Comedy Festival, Vermont Pride, and the Rainbow Riverfest.  She wrote a column for New England’s largest LGBT Newspaper,The Rainbow Times, called “The Controversial Couch” for many years and hosted many radio shows including TRT Talk Radio, The Naked Truth and Queer Energy. She performed on stage at the very last Michigan’s Women’s Music Festival and was also in Vermont’s Funniest Comedian Contest in 2015.

Suzan is the host of TNT Comedy Thursday’s, a monthly comedy open mic and showcase at Twiggs in St. Albans.

When she’s not performing, Suzan enjoys drinking cider and playing with her kitties while a wood stove burns in the background.
